I Want to RecognizeThe Water Scares Me
I was overwhelmed by a sense of déjà vu. Haven't I been here before?
Massive tree trunks surrounded the familiar park square. In the center, a simple small fountain rested. Whenever I glanced around to take in the rest of the park, my eyes kept returning to the fountain against my will, as if the water was pulling them.
I didn't like water. That much I figured out from the way my eyes nervously strayed back to it a couple feet away. As I walked around it, I spotted a yellow fur ball the size of a baseball swimming on the surface.
At the sight, I gasped and reeled back, a hand to my mouth. I felt my memory
Geronimo: Chapter 3 (Reader x Eleventh Doctor)"Doctor,do you have any clue where we're going?" you asked your (e/c) eyes looking at him in bemusement. " I always do. Usually.Sometimes. Ok I usually have no clue." you both laughed at that last sentence. The TARDIS stopped. You flung open the doors to reveal a lush Italian landscape. You gazed around and immediately ran for a beautiful willow tree. The doctor was slightly trailing behind you and speed-walked to keep up. You both sat under the tree, just drinking in the scene with admiration. His face burned a bright crimson, when you noticed this you became flushed as well. All of the sudden a body fell out of the willow. You both jumped u
What lurks within'Your dreamscape goes on for years, as you travel along the set out path you become increasingly weary of what's coming up next. The grab bag plethora of randomness is almost undeniable, you're likely to come across a giant man eating clown ravaging a small village or a vision of the future end of the world or your teeth falling out one by one.
As you continue down the road it begins to morph, becoming topsy turvy, sending your stomache for a ride. Your vision becomes skewed as you spiral infinitely forward, unaware of your fate. Eventually you stop, standing at the precipise of your own consciousness. The here and now, you watch your self slumbering. An ideal picture perfect end to the nonsensical rantings of your inner mind. You look back at the fear inducing-happiness creating insanity behind you and smile.
This New Game System Rules! Craig checked the manual one last time to make sure he didn't miss anything. The last lines before the instructions switched to French was "Congratulations! Your new X Platform XL 2020 is almost ready to play. Just follow the onscreen instructions and get ready to have the X Platform XL 2020 rule your world."
Odd thing to put in the manual, he thought as he tossed it into the empty box his system had come in. He thumbed the power button and waited for the system to boot up.
He didn't have to wait long. Soon the screen was scrolling large, neon-green letters in greeting. "Thank you for purchasing the X Platform XL 2020. We jus
Kids, do not...“I need something to drink...” Angie muttered.
She reached inside the nearby fridge and grabbed a beaker of purple fluid. Not caring what was in the beaker at the moment, she drank its contents.
Angie coughed from the resulting smoke that came from ingesting the fluid, only to find her...er, himself different. He was hairier than normal, his chest was flat, his hair was shorter, and he was wearing a pair of trousers instead of a skirt.
“Where’s the Director?!” she/he yelled in embarrassment. “One of the scientists put some sort of gender switching formula in the fridge!”
HunterHargreaves stood watching the greyness around him. His eyes wandered back and forth, watching for anything except the ghostly movements of the fog creeping along the ground.
The metal of his Directed Ionisation Cannon clinked as it cooled from the recent gunfire. Minutes earlier he'd felt like a fool firing it at nothing but rocks and bushes, but he needed to get their attention somehow.
He'd been waiting for them to find him for the past three days since he saw the dropship trail. Either the hunter they'd sent was taking a vacation in the swamps, or he was a god damn idiot who couldn't find his own ass with both hands, he considered, chuck

The History of our Kind
It began one hundred years ago. British petroleum had ten more big oil spills since the first big spill in 2010. They managed to turn the entire ocean into a greasy rainbow colored wasteoid. Gas prices skyrocketed to $10 a gallon in a week then $50. then $100. The world economy crashed. America was able to remain a world power… but that’s only because the rest of the world was worse off than The United States of America. this was mostly due to the government mishandling of the situation, nation and world wide. Instituting martial law before
20 Themes: Fear 'Fear.'
Fly leaped, spun, and bam hit the target bag dead-on.
'Is an illusion.'
Back flip, curl legs around the neck of the nearest dummy, squeeze, and down he goes.
'It was never real, and never will be.'
This was a good practice. Her time was improving, and her hits made more solid contact. She turned to find another part of the room to work when her eyes alighted on Jaden talking to Quest outside the training room. Bandages still covered a good portion of his body.
'But the mind doesn't know that.'
Images of Gash appeared in her mind, and she immediately seized the next dummy.
'To the mind, fear is a presence
gestaltThe glass frame shuddered, vibrating like a card in the wind. A rounded cup on the table twitched in small jumps, just microns off the surface of the vibrating crystal. The liquid inside quivered and bounced, small globules of the dark syrup and liquor separating and falling back into themselves.
An incense cone etched a zigzagging line of light gray smoke into the air, and the man at the booth lit a cigarette from the glowing tip. Soga was an experienced sec-op agent, graduated from squad work with the peacekeepers to independent investigator; he spent most of his time happily on ice, unconscious, an avatar without a handler, in as much a s
Return: I'm back! (Chapter 1)Piper's PoV:
"Piper! Carter! Get in here it's time for dinner!" I heard my mom call out. I turned my head for a moment by instinct. A hard football connected with the side of my head. I blinked my bright blue eyes a few times and shot a glare at my identical twin sister, Carter. She smirked and tossed her dirty blonde hair behind her shoulder.
"Oopsies. Did I hit you? I'm SO sorry." She said with a fake tone of sympathy. I growled at her and she stuck out her tongue.
"Carter, knock it off." My mom shouted from the door. Carter groaned in annoyance.
"I'm not Carter, she is!" Carter said, sneaking me a wink. I quickly caught on.
Space Warrior 15Gen: A riot? That's easy!

Everyone looks at Gen
Immediately, everyone began shouting and fighting, the usual signs of a riot
Prisoner: Forget controlling my anger! LET'S RIOT! *gets tackled*
Mark: Now what?
Zeo: We just need to get to the landing bay.
Gen: But that's on the other side of the prison!
Zeo: *brings out Z-Saber* Don't worry, just follow me!
Nala: *hears the riot* What is that?! *runs outside and sees everyone fighting* WHAT?!? HOW DID THIS HAPPEN? THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A LOCK DOWN!!!!!!
Sarah: *points* Warden, look!
Nala turns to wher
The Alien's Coffee A great deal has been said about our imagined first contact with alien species. There have been takeovers and battles, bloodshed and abductions. Some have spoken of recipe books, others of sex slaves, even of gardeners. But, in truth, the actual first contact was rather mundane. It all started with a cup of coffee.
And not the sexy coffee, either. It wasn’t an afternoon specialty latte meant to fuel some eager freshman politician into his late night forays into debt management. It wasn’t the iced mocha Frappuccino of the preppy kid on his way to the club on a Friday night. It wasn’t even that first cup o&rsquo

Gavin's phone was ringing. The tiger anthro picked it up.
"DL? It's Sinzu."
"Oh, hey man. What's up?"
"I just finished something. I'll give you the details later, but could you swing by my lab?"
"All right! See ya then."
Gavin figured his friend had just finished another transformation-inducing thing. Of course, he went along with it anyways. In a few minutes he was at Sinzu's lab, which was in reality an abandoned warehouse that had been modified for his mad scientist tendencies.
"Ah, you're here, cool. I just finished this thi
[Noah's Blog] Well, Shit...I say that because I started out the day all excited. We were near D.C., and it's the Fourth of July and I thought it would be awesome to go see the fireworks. I didn't realize we'd end up in a bar with hard liquor afterward.
A hick from a hick town, I hadn't ever really seen a *big* show before. I mean, we'd set off our own stuff in the driveway and gone to the next town for theirs once or twice, but that was about it. So I didn't even think when Mac and I were sitting there with Jo and Red about suggesting that we go. There was a hitch in Jo's expression when she looked at Mac, but he just smiled a little and shrugged and agreed that it mi
the Vets companion Part 3 Once in Brians' house, The Vet's curiosity kicked in, and she walked over to the fish tank that sat on a podium.
" Hello Jerry!"
The Vet greeted the fish enthusiastcally.
" Her names Shelly. "
" No, her name is Jerry. I speak fish! "
Brian face palmed and walked away. He walked into the kitchen, the Vet close behind. Brian's mother was cooking something and saw them before Brian could push the Vet out of the room.
"Mom! You're home early."
Brian greeted surprised,
"Yes! I decided to come home early. Who is this?"
She asked, her eyes wondering over to the Vet.
"SABRINA! Her name's Sabrina."
Brian cut the Vet off before she could say anything,
"She's... helping with a project."
Brian's mother lo
